Dainty Sterling Silver Egyptian Eye of Horus Ring

0.9 cm deep at widest point

An unusual, beautifully-made solid Sterling Silver ring which depicts the Eye of Horus at the front as an attractive and detailed engraving.  The ring has a plain polished shank at the back.

It will be sent to its new owner in a protective silk pouch, cleansed and charged with powerful healing and protective energy. This lovely ring is available in a range of sizes.

Horus was the 'Divine Son' of the Egyptian Holy Trinity - the son of Isis and Osiris. He was the Falcon God, and lost his eye, but his sight was restored by the Goddess Hathor.

Because of this legend, the Eye symbol has been used as a symbol of protection and healing for at least 8,000 years, and often appears in jewellery.

This symbol is also sometimes called the Udjat - an Egyptian word meaning 'making better'. Udjats have been found wrapped with mummies to protect the dead in the next life.
